Ramon Saumell i Calaf Photographer

Ramon began taking photos at the age of 13 as a member of the Vila-rodona Photographic Group, under the guidance of Josep Santesmases. By a twist of fate, instead of getting a motorbike, he had to settle for a reflex camera, a decision that would shape his lifelong connection with photography.

Ramon enjoys travel photography. Away from his usual surroundings, he becomes one with his camera. He doesn't find joy in taking simple souvenir photos; instead, he strives to capture the emotion of each moment, both to remember it himself and now to share it with you.

Since 1980, he has participated in and won awards at photography competitions. He has also held exhibitions in Gijón, Oviedo, Almedíjar, Granollers, Barcelona, and Vila-rodona, among others.

His photographs have been featured in various cultural publications.
